Figure's humanoid robot just walked into the White House. Figure O3 and First Lady Melania Trump greeted guests in ten languages, and made history as the first humanoid robot to appear at an official White House event. The Figure O3 just became the first robot to be an official guest at the Whitehouse. The occasion was the Fostering the Future Together summit - a two-day event on AI and education, hosted by the First Lady for spouses of leaders from forty-five nations and representatives from twenty-eight tech companies. Figure O3 was front and centre on day two. This is as much a political moment as a technical one. When a humanoid robot gets an invitation to the White House, it's a signal that this technology is being taken seriously at the highest levels.
