OpenAI has released GPT-6.1 Terra, a cheaper model for everyday computer work. It reads your screen and acts on it, clicking, typing and switching apps to process invoices or turn architectural drawings into 3D models. On OpenAI's testing it scores 15 points above GPT-5.6 Terra at about a third of the cost, and matches GPT-6 Astra on computer use at around a tenth of the price. At $1/$5 per million tokens it's half the price of Sol, live in ChatGPT, Codex and the API, and ships with Astra's safeguards.
