Moonshot AI has released the full model weights and technical report for Kimi K3, a 2.8 trillion parameter mixture-of-experts model with native visual understanding and a million-token context window. The company says the headline achievement isn't the parameter count but a new architecture that extracts 2.5 times more intelligence from the same compute budget. Alongside the model itself, Moonshot has open-sourced the attention kernels, MoE communication library, and infrastructure for running agent environments at scale, and early benchmarks already show it beating Fable 5 on Frontend Code Arena. Claude Opus 5 has drawn attention for a different reason: Matt Shumer reports it built an entire first-person shooter from a single prompt, with every texture, physics system and audio element generated as custom code rather than external assets. The prompt directed Claude to split the work across sub-agents handling separate systems, with one sub-agent acting purely as a harsh visual critic benchmarking output against triple-A quality. The result is a Three.js browser game spanning roughly fifty-five thousand lines of code across eleven subsystems, with the full repo and prompt published publicly. Sam Altman has said in a new interview that we're already inside the singularity, describing this as the present moment rather than some future threshold, and suggesting most people outside tech circles haven't registered what's happening. He's repeated variations of this claim across several recent podcast appearances. The same interview touches on starting a startup, trusting exponential progress, and operating inside chaotic environments, offering a candid tone from someone running one of the labs driving this progress. Anthropic is dealing with a data exposure problem that echoes one OpenAI faced roughly a year ago. Shared Claude chats had already turned up indexed and searchable on Google, and it's now emerged that shared artifacts, the apps, docs and dashboards users built and published from inside Claude, were affected too. Internal company dashboards and full client project plans have reportedly been found sitting in search results, exposed simply because share links weren't blocked from indexing. Google's results are starting to disappear, likely through deindexing, though Anthropic hasn't issued a public statement. Separately, OpenAI has made ChatGPT's custom Pets shareable, letting users send a link so someone else can adopt their AI companion into their own account. Pets are created through the Hatch skill, which turns an idea or reference image into an animated companion; sharing is live on ChatGPT web and tucked into personalisation settings, with an option to export the spritesheet into the desktop app.
