Everything runs on a 300-gram puck with Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite, 12 gigabytes of memory and 128 gigabytes of storage, connected by a thin fibre-optic cable. The sun never sets on a data centre in orbit. A company called C5R says it has built a research facility run entirely by AI, in twelve weeks. It's called Facility-0. Software connects frontier models to everything from hydraulic presses to individual pipettes across biology, chemistry and materials science. Models design experiments, run the protocols, read the measurements and decide what to try next, with no human in the loop. Alongside it, C5R is releasing SciUniverse, a benchmark that tests whether frontier models can turn a scientific goal into a verified result inside the facility or its digital twin. It seems like we're moving on from solving maths. Odyssey has released Agora-2, a multiplayer world model you can try in the browser now. Up to twenty participants share one AI-generated environment in real time: four human players alongside sixteen AI agents. Every frame is generated by the model, learned from footage of Diablo II. The difference from earlier world models is a shared authoritative state behind the scenes, so characters stay consistent even when nobody is looking at them. Odyssey pitches it as a simulator for studying how agents behave around each other. It's a research preview, and the paper admits frame rate and latency haven't been measured yet.
